Cannot remove the blade

Power off the tool and remove the battery before proceeding

Insert an object such as a small slotted screwdriver into the SPINDLE LOCK (1) to lock it in place

Rotate the BLADE SCREW (2) counterclockwise with a slot tip screwdriver and remove the BLADE SCREW while steadily holding the SPINDLE LOCK in place

Remove the BLADE SCREW
Slide the blade away from the BLADE GUARD and remove the blade.

Slide the new blade under the BLADE GUARD with the beveled edges facing you
Align the blade with the hole in the blade shaft, replace the screw, and screw it clockwise to secure the blade tightly.
