Try this solution
With the batteries removed from the mower, check if the steel door may be stuck.
To check if the steel door on your mower is stuck, you can try tapping or pushing on it a few times while simultaneously attempting to pull the lever. You can slide the lever from right to left or vice versa when changing modes. It's worth noting that the lever might require a bit of force to move initially. Once you manage to move it, try shifting it back and forth a few times to properly position it.
