Adjust the chain tension

Possible Cause:
The chain may be over tensioned.

To tighten it, turn the knob clockwise. To loosen it, turn it counterclockwise.

Tilt the saw forward (E1) where the guide bar tip is pushed in an downward direction. This will remove slack from the chain.
